New Hampshire Adjuncts:
Take a Minute to Share Your Thoughts

New Hampshire adjunct faculty members in October 2010

“As adjuncts, we’ve always felt alone and isolated. Joining together in SEA allows us to be part of positive change and win the respect that we deserve as professional educators.” - CCSNH Adjunct Professors Gail Schilling, Dick Dunnington and Jane Hunt

Our community college system gives everyone in New Hampshire access to the dream of higher education. As the economy goes down, our enrollment goes up. And even though the community college system increasingly depends on adjunct professors to teach its classes, our pay per credit hour is far less than our full-time colleagues. And, we have no health insurance or job security. A quality educational system cannot be built on temporary, disposable labor. We know that the time is now to stand together for ourselves, for our families and for the students we serve.
